Progress charts: adherence, records and trends

How the Progress charts in the Stund app and on the client’s page work out weekly adherence, personal records and body trends. Part of the Online Coaching beta.

What it is

With the Online Coaching beta on, your clients see an Overview at the top of the Progress tab in the Stund app, and you see the same in the Progress card on the client's page:

  • Adherence for each of the last 8 weeks, as bars.
  • Personal records for each exercise.
  • Body trends: weight and the other body measurements over the last 12 months.

These are views of fitness progress. They are not medical measurements, and nothing here gives health advice.

How adherence is counted

Each bar is one week, Monday to Sunday, on your business's calendar. The last bar is this week, so far.

  • What counts as planned: every workout, content item and check-in in the client's programs dated that week, and every day a habit runs that week. Archiving a program keeps the weeks it ran in. What was planned while it was archived — from the day you archived it until the day you restored it — counts only if the client did it anyway. Restore it, and it counts as usual again from that day. For a program archived before October 2026, when Stund started noting these days, the last time the program was changed is taken as the day it was archived.
  • What counts as done: a workout the client finished, content they opened, a check-in they answered, and a habit day they logged.
  • Days after today never count. Today only counts once it is done, so a workout planned for this evening doesn't pull the week down this morning.
  • A week with nothing planned has no bar, rather than 0%.

How personal records are counted

For each exercise, from the sets the client finished in workouts from the last two years. A set counts on its workout's day, or on the day it was done if that was earlier:

  • Heaviest — the most weight lifted in one set, with its reps.
  • Estimated 1RM — an estimate of the most the client could lift once, worked out with the Epley formula (weight × (1 + reps ÷ 30)) from sets of 12 reps or fewer. It is a guide, not a lift that was done.
  • Most reps at bodyweight — for sets logged without weight.

Sets that weren't ticked as done don't count. An exercise from your exercise library is counted as one exercise, whatever it was called in each program, and a free-text exercise is matched by its name. When a record is equalled, the first time it was reached keeps it. A record from a workout in the last 7 days is marked New.

  • One line per measurement, from the client's measurements in the last 12 months. Choose the measurement to show.
  • Weight also has a dashed line: the average of the last 7 entries, which smooths out day-to-day swings.
  • If both the client and a coach measured on the same day, the client's own value is shown, and the chart says so.
  • Trends show only while the client has body measurements turned on.
  • On your side, measurements from before a change of the client's email address are shown in grey, apart from the rest. The client never sees them.

Who sees what

  • The client sees their own charts in the app. The last version is kept on their phone so it opens without signal, and it is removed when they sign out.
  • Coaches see adherence and records from the programs they run, and body trends for their own clients.
  • Owners and admins see everything for every client.

Nothing in these charts is sent to the AI assistant or in notifications.
