What it is
With the Online Coaching beta on, you can give a program template to a client. The client gets their own copy of it, dated from a start day you choose: the template's week 1, day 1 lands on that day, and every item follows from it. What you then change on the client's copy changes only their program — never the template, and never another client's copy. A change you make to the template later doesn't reach clients who already have it.
Any coach who works with programs can assign any of the business's templates — they are shared. The copy runs under a coach you may work with, by default the template's own.
Assigning a template
- Open Clients and choose the client.
- Under Program & workouts, choose Assign template.
- Pick the template, the day it starts, and the coach it runs under.
- Choose Assign.
The copy appears with the client's other programs, marked with the template it came from. Edit, move or delete its items as you would on any program. On the template's page you see how many clients have a copy.
Good to know
A client can have up to 20 programs. An article without text, or a PDF whose file has been deleted, is left out of the copy — Stund tells you how many.
With a membership or a package
A membership or a package can come with a program:
- On a membership, choose the template under Program in What's included. Each new member gets their own copy when the membership starts — on their first payment, or when their free trial starts.
- On a package, choose the template under Program in the service editor, next to the package's price and payment methods. Each buyer gets their own copy once the package is paid, also when you mark a purchase as paid yourself.
You can attach a template whose coach you work with — its buyers' copies run under that coach. A template with no coach can be attached by owners and admins. The copy starts on your business's today, under the template's coach, and is made once per purchase — a membership that renews doesn't get it again. An archived template is not given to anyone; choose another one, or take it off the membership or package.
Unlocking
Each template unlocks one of two ways, and its copies keep that rule:
- By date — every item opens on its own day.
- In order — an item opens on its day, and only once the item before it is done.
Until an item opens, your client sees only its name, with Opens on and the day, or Finish the previous item first. The coming days are kept on the phone, so an item opens on its day even without signal. An item waiting for an earlier one opens the next time the phone is online after that one is done; until then the app says Will open when you're back online. Done means: a workout finished, an article, link or PDF opened in the app, a check-in answered. Habits don't wait and don't hold anything back: they open on their day. A check-in left unanswered for more than two weeks stops holding the program back: it counts as missed (and shows on Clients at risk), and the next item opens.
Good to know
A client on an older version of the app sees workouts and check-ins, but no articles, links or PDFs. For them, a program that unlocks in order doesn't wait on content, so their workouts are never stuck behind something their app can't show. They see everything once they update.
Check-ins in a program
A check-in in a client's program becomes a one-off check-in for them on its day. They get a reminder, answer it in the app, and you read and reply to it in the check-ins queue like any other. It doesn't appear in your list of check-ins on the Check-ins page — it lives with its program: moving the item moves the check-in, deleting the item or archiving the program stops it, and answers already sent stay in the queue.
What your client sees
In the Stund app for clients, Today lists every item of today and the coming days — workouts, habits, content and check-ins — each with its state. An article is kept on the phone with the workouts; a link opens in the browser; a PDF opens online (it isn't kept on the phone). A check-in opens on the Check-ins tab.
