Habits for your clients

Give clients a daily habit — yes/no, a count or a number — that they log in the Stund app for clients, even without signal, and follow how often they keep it up. Part of the Online Coaching beta.

What it is

With the Online Coaching beta on, a habit is something your client does every day for a number of days — 7 by default, up to 84. You add it to a client's program, or to a template, like any other item. There are three kinds:

  • Yes/no — "Walk 20 minutes". The client taps it when it's done.
  • Count with a target — "8 glasses of water". The client counts up and down.
  • Number with a unit and a target — "2.5 litres", "10 km". The client types the number.

Habits are for fitness and general wellbeing — not for medical treatment or rehabilitation.

What your client does

In the Stund app for clients, Today shows every habit that is running, and the client logs today's value right there. It works without signal: what they log is kept on the phone and sent when they're back online. They can change or clear a day later. Habits don't wait for anything else in the program and never hold anything back — in a program that unlocks in order too, a habit opens on its first day.

Clients can also turn on a daily reminder for a habit and pick the time. It is a notification on their own phone that only says it's time to log today's habits — it never names the habit or shows anything they logged. Reminders stop when the habit ends, and when they sign out.

Following it on the client's page

On the client's page, under Program & workouts, each running habit shows how many of its days were logged over the last 7 and 28 days. Open it to see the days logged and their values, and — for a count or number — on how many days the target was reached. Today doesn't count yet: there is still time to log it.

If fewer than half of the days the client's habits ran in the last week were logged, the client shows on Clients at risk with the label Habits.

What is stored, and who sees it

What a client logs is treated as health data: it is stored encrypted, never sent in a notification or to AI, and only you and your team (coaches for their own clients) can see it. It is part of the client's data export, and erasing the client deletes it. If you delete a habit from a program, every day your client logged for it is deleted too — Stund asks first. If you change a habit after days were logged (its days, its length or its kind), only the days that still fit it count towards how often it was kept up.
