What it is
With the Online Coaching beta on, Exercises holds your business's exercise library: each exercise with its name in English and Norwegian, a few short coaching cues, the equipment it needs, defaults for a workout (sets, reps, load, tempo and rest), and a demo. When you use a library exercise in a client's workout, your client sees its cues and demo in the Stund app for clients.
Stund's exercise library is for fitness training, not medical treatment or rehabilitation. Write cues about technique — how to move — not about health conditions.
Starting from the Stund library
The Stund library tab has common exercises, already named and with cues in both languages. Choose Add to my library to make one yours: the copy is your business's to edit, and Stund's own demo is shown for it when one is available. Until an exercise has a demo, your clients see its category and name instead.
Adding your own
- Open Exercises and choose New exercise.
- Give it a name in English, Norwegian or both, and write a few cues, one per line.
- Pick a category, the equipment and the body region, and the defaults a workout starts from.
- Choose Save exercise. Then add a demo: a link that starts with https://, a photo, or a short video.
Videos can be up to 50 MB and 60 seconds; photos up to 10 MB. Uploads count towards the same file storage as files you share with clients. A video plays on a loop without sound, so a few clean repetitions work best.
Tip
Everyone in your business can use the library and add to it. A coach can change or archive the exercises they created; owners and admins can change any of them.
Using it in a workout
In a client's Program & workouts, open a workout and choose the library button next to an exercise. Search your library and the Stund library, and pick one: its name and defaults are filled in, and the exercise is linked. You can still type any exercise as free text instead — it just won't have cues or a demo.
If you rename an exercise in the library later, workouts you already made keep the name they were saved with.
Exercises you typed before
Programs made before the library existed have exercises typed as text. When some of them have the same name as an exercise in your library or the Stund library (in either language), Exercises offers to link them. A Stund exercise is added to your library as it's linked, and an exercise that matches only an archived one is linked to it and stays archived. Your clients then see the cues and demo; the names they see don't change. Names that match nothing stay as typed — add them to the library yourself if you want, and link them the next time. A coach links the exercises in their own clients' programs.
Archiving
Archive hides an exercise from the library and the picker. Workouts that already use it keep it, so your clients still see its cues and demo. Restore brings it back.
Privacy
Demos are stored privately and only ever reach your clients through links that expire within hours. Removing a demo deletes its file. The library belongs to your business, not to a client: erasing a client's data doesn't remove exercises from it, so don't name an exercise after a client.
