What it is
With the Online Coaching beta on, you can give a client a program: workouts laid out week by week, each with exercises, sets, reps, load and rest. Your client follows them in the Stund app for clients and logs each set as they go. You see what they did on the client's page.
Making a program
- Open Clients and choose the client.
- Under Program & workouts, choose New program. Give it a name and a start date, and pick the coach it runs under.
- Choose Add workout. Pick the week and day, name the workout, and add instructions if you like.
- Add the exercises: a name, the number of sets, the reps (for example 8–10), the load (for example 60 kg or RPE 8), the rest between sets in seconds, and notes. You can add a link to a demo video that starts with https://.
- Choose Save workout.
Week 1 starts on the program's start date, and each day follows on from it, so "Week 2, Wed" lands on a real date your client sees.
Tip
Exercises are plain text for now. Use the same name for the same exercise every time — the app pre-fills the weight and reps your client did last time it saw that name.
What your client sees
In the Stund app for clients, the Today tab shows today's workout and the next six days. They are kept on the phone, so they work without signal at the gym. Your client taps each set off, with the weight and reps filled in from last time (or from your plan), or uses Same as last time in one tap. A rest timer starts after each set, and if they allow it, the phone says when the rest is over even while it is locked. Sets are saved on the phone and sent when there is a connection; a set sent twice is still counted once.
Following up
Each workout on the client's page shows how many sets were logged and, once the client finishes it, when they did and any note they left. Finished workouts also appear in the client's timeline. A coach sees the programs that run under their own coach; owners and admins see all of them.
Changing or archiving
Edit a workout with the pencil. If you remove an exercise your client has already logged, the sets they logged for it are deleted too — Stund asks first. Archive takes a program out of the client's app without deleting it.
Privacy
Instructions, exercise notes and the client's notes on finished workouts are treated as health information and encrypted. A client's programs and everything they logged are included when you export their data, and deleted when you erase it.
