What it is
Stund has two apps. The one you may already use is for you and your team. The Stund app for clients is a separate app your clients install to follow what they do with you. It is not in the app stores yet: Stund lets businesses in the beta know when their clients can download it. It is part of the Online Coaching beta: only businesses in the beta show up in it, and it costs nothing extra while the beta lasts.
Your clients see:
- today's workout and the next six days from the program you made them, kept on the phone so it works without signal at the gym — they tick off each set with the weight and reps pre-filled from last time, and a rest timer runs between sets; if they allow notifications, the phone also tells them when the rest is over while it is locked
- their upcoming sessions with you
- their check-ins: the questions you set up for them, answered on the day they're due, with your reply
- their memberships and session credits, with a button to pay, change a card, pause or cancel, and see receipts — that opens the same client page they already know from the web, already signed in
Your clients can also chat with you in the app (see Chat with your clients). How to make a program is in Workouts for your clients, and how to set up check-ins in Check-ins with your clients.
How clients sign in
Clients sign in with the email address they book with. They type it in, get a code by email, and enter it. The first time, that also creates their Stund account — there is no password to remember. Stund only sends a code to an address that is a client of a business on Stund, or already has a Stund account.
A client sees every business in the beta where they are a client with that address. If they are a client of several, they choose which one to look at.
Tip
If a client says the app shows "Nothing here yet", check that the email address on their client record is the one they signed in with.
Notifications
Once notifications are set up for the app, clients can turn them on under Account — that is what lets your business reach them on their phone. The rest timer's "rest is over" alert is separate: it comes from the phone itself, and the app asks for it the first time a rest starts. Notifications never contain the content of a message or anything else about the client — only that there is something new from your business. Your client opens the app to read it.
Privacy
The app shows a client only their own information at your business. When you export a client's data, the file includes the weeks they opened the app to see your business. When you erase a client, that is deleted too, and your business can no longer reach them in the app.
