What it is
With the Online Coaching beta on, you can share files and links with each client: a program as a PDF, a meal plan, a photo, a link to a video. The client finds them under Files in the Stund app for clients. In the chat, both you and the client can send a photo or a PDF with a message.
Sharing a file or a link
- Open the client's page under Clients.
- In Files, choose Add file (a photo or a PDF, at most 10 MB) or Add link (a web address).
- Give it a title the client will recognise, and choose Share.
It shows in the client's app straight away. Remove (the bin icon) takes it away from the client and deletes it.
Files in the chat
- In Chat, the paperclip next to the message box attaches a photo or a PDF. You can send it with or without text.
- Clients attach a photo or a PDF in the Stund app the same way, up to 100 MB of files a day each.
- A photo shows in the conversation; a PDF opens when you click it. Photos taken on an iPhone (HEIC) may download instead of opening in some browsers.
- In the Stund app for your team you can open files sent in the chat; sharing and sending files is done from the dashboard.
Who can see them
The same people as the chat: owners and admins for every client, and a coach for their own clients. Files are never public: each time a file is opened, Stund checks who is asking and gives a link that works for a few minutes.
Storage
Your business has 2 GB for client files and chat attachments together. The client's page shows how much is used. To free space, remove files you no longer need — also a file sent in the chat: the bin next to it deletes the file, and the message stays, saying it was removed. If you need more, contact Stund.
Privacy
Files are treated like the rest of a client's coaching data. Chat attachments are deleted with their message after 24 months; shared files stay until you remove them. Exporting a client's data lists every file and link (the files themselves stay in the app and the chat, where the client can open them), and erasing a client deletes them all.
